How I approach treatment:  together we will work on improving your ability to handle life’s hurdles and help you embody your authentic self and identity through:

​

  • Comprehensively gaining an understanding of your life story, unique strengths, lived and current challenges, personal and social life structure 

  • Incorporating psychotherapeutic modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mentalization techniques, MBCT Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, interpersonal therapy, supportive therapy, relaxation and somatic techniques relaxation techniques, communication skills, emotional regulation skills, anger management techniques

  • Utilizing complementary medicine, if needed and treat mental health symptoms with psychotropic medication, if clinically indicated 

    • I​ncorporating lifestyle modifications including sleep hygiene, optimizing diet, and physical activity
