Sleep difficulties 

 

Can feel and look like: interrupted or poor quality rest of your body and mind, with a dulling feeling of the mind and a low physical battery

My treatment approach: working with you and guiding you towards the quality and needed rest for your mind and body’s betterment through:

​

  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the root causes

  • Adjunctly utilizing complementary medicine, if needed

  • Implementing a psychotropic medication regimen, if indicated to adequately treat your symptoms

  • Tailoring your psychotherapeutic treatment through modalities such as CBT-I (cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia), MBSR (mindfulness based therapies), sleep hygiene training and educations, ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) for insomnia, relaxation training techniques

  • Incorporating lifestyle modifications

*I do not utilize benzodiazepines in my medication management as controlled substances are not part of a telehealth treatment plan
